Austin man sentenced to prison time on two felony criminal sexual conduct charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin man originally charged with eight felony counts of criminal sexual conduct in Mower County District Court after sexually abusing two girls, then ages 10 and 12 on multiple occasions in Austin starting in April of 2018 has been sentenced to prison time.  

26-year old Dylan Matthew Drees was convicted and sentenced Friday to 90 months, or seven years and five months in prison for a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, significant relationship, child under 16 years of age, multiple acts, and he was also convicted and sentenced Friday to 111 months, or nine years and four months prison for an additional felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, significant relationship, child under 16 years of age, multiple acts.  Drees was given credit for 238 days already served, and he first pleaded guilty to the two felony 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct charges on August 22nd of this year after after initially pleading not guilty on April 27th, 2020.  Judge Jeffery Kritzer also determined that Drees will be subject to 10 years of conditional release after confinement, and Judge Kritzer also ruled that Drees will be able to serve the two prison sentences concurrently.

Four felony counts of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under 13 years of age, plus two felony counts of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, significant relationship, child under 16, multiple acts against Drees in the case were dismissed with his guilty pleas.
