Austin man sentenced to prison time on criminal sexual conduct charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who sexually abused a 16-year-old male starting when he was about 8-years-old in late 2011 and continued for approximately six to eight months has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court. 

29-year old Roger Conner was sentenced Friday to five years in prison after pleading guilty on August 30th to a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct.  

Conner was arrested in February after being released on probation for a prior conviction on two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. A felony charge of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct, significant relationship, multiple acts in the case was dismissed with Conner’s guilty plea.
