Austin man sentenced to prison time for felony drug sale charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who sold .27 grams of heroin to a Confidential Reliable Informant, or CRI on November 28th 2018 from his residence on the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue Southwest, half a block from Galloway Park has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.

44-year old Robert Edward Collins was sentenced to 32 months in prison last week for a felony 4th degree drug sale charge.  He was also ordered to pay just over $1,000 in fines and fees, and a felony charge of 2nd degree drugs, sale of a schedule I or II narcotic in a park zone was dismissed with his guilty plea.
