An Austin man facing a felony theft charge in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that took place in August of 2017 has been sentenced to jail time and supervised probation in Mower County District Court.

24-year old Aaron James Huehn was recently sentenced to 15 days in jail and five years of supervised probation for a felony charge of theft, taking, using or transferring movable property without consent.  Judge Kevin Siefken granted Huehn a stay of imposition in the case where the defendant pleads guilty to a felony level offense.  If he or she successfully completes their probation, the conviction will be deemed a misdemeanor.

Huehn first pleaded guilty to the charge in December of 2018, and he was convicted in June of 2019.
