Austin man sentenced to jail time, supervised probation, fines, fees and time in the sentence to service program on two felony criminal sexual conduct charges in Mower County District Court
An Austin man who sexually abused a then 4-year old girl on two different occasions in December of 2019, and again in February of 2020 has been sentenced to jail time, supervised probation, fines and fees, plus time in the sentence to service program on two felony criminal sexual conduct charges in Mower County District Court.
46-year old Dustan Kenneth Branson was convicted and sentenced Thursday to 180 days in jail, 15 years of supervised probation, $5,160 in fines and fees and 100 hours in the sentence to service program for a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 13 years of age, actor more than 36 months older. A 36-month prison sentence was stayed for 15 years if Branson complies with the 23 different conditions of his probation, and he was also convicted and sentenced Thursday to 15 years of supervised probation and 100 hours in the sentence to service program for an additional felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 13 years of age, actor more than 36 months older. An additional 36-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Branson adheres to the conditions of his probation, and Judge Kevin Siefken determined that Branson will serve the two sentences consecutively.
Branson first pleaded guilty to the two felony criminal sexual conduct charges on Thursday.
