Austin man pleads guilty to criminal sexual conduct charge in Freeborn County District Court

An Austin man accused of raping a woman in an Albert Lea hotel room on January 29th has pleaded guilty in Freeborn County District Court.  

34-year old Dallas Clinton Britt pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony charge of third-degree criminal sex conduct-force or coercion-as part of a plea agreement.  

Four other felony charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct-penetration or contact-cause personal injury, kidnapping-to facilitate felony or flight, false imprisonment and criminal sexual predatory conduct will be dismissed at the sentencing as part of the agreement.

Britt is scheduled to be sentenced in Freeborn County District Court on January 10th.
