Austin man injured in two-vehicle accident in Faribault County Monday evening
An Austin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident on eastbound Interstate 90 in Faribault County early Monday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2014 Toyota Tundra being driven by 38-year old Nephtali Abraham Daza of Austin and a 2012 Freightliner semi being driven by 50-year old Richard Earl Lobdell of Baltic, South Dakota were both eastbound on I-90 in Faribault County at approximately 6:13 p.m. Monday evening when the two vehicles collided at milepost 128.
Daza suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Blue Earth Hospital, while Lobdell was uninjured. The State Patrol reported that both parties were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident, and the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, plus Frost Fire and Ambulance all assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Monday evening.
