Austin man facing felony fleeing, DWI charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who allegedly caused a motor vehicle accident on the afternoon of May 11th while leading authorities on a vehicle chase through northwest Austin has been charged in Mower County District Court.

29-year old Jordan Lee Hernandez Cox was charged Thursday with a felony for first-degree DWI, under the influence of a controlled substance, a felony for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and gross misdemeanors for criminal vehicular operation, bodily harm, under the influence of a controlled substance, and for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety.

Cox’s next appearance in Mower County District Court on May 28th.
