Austin man facing felony charges for assault, terroristic threats and domestic assault in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who allegedly strangled an adult woman during a domestic disturbance early Sunday morning at a residence on the 200 block of 4th Avenue Southeast, causing injuries to her head, neck, ears and hands deemed substantial bodily harm by a doctor at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Austin has been charged in Mower County District Court.

21-year old Jonathan Ceasar Maldonado was charged Monday with felonies for third-degree assault, substantial bodily harm, terroristic threats and domestic assault by strangulation and a misdemeanor for domestic assault.  

Maldonado’s next appearance in Mower County District Court is scheduled for December 23rd.
