Austin High School to have remote learning day Thursday due to HVAC failure

Austin Public Schools is responding to a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) failure at Austin High School, which will impact operations at the school for Thursday.

Superintendent Dr. Joey Page stated in a message to parents and guardians of students in the district that they are working to correct the problem as quickly as possible, and they thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

Dr. Page went on to state that unfortunately, due to the nature of the failure, Austin High School will have a remote learning day on Thursday, March 16.
