Austin High School Rotary Students of the Month for November named

Congratulations to Faith Nystel and Tori Watkins on being named the Rotary Students of the Month for Austin High School for November 2019!

Faith is a member of NHS, Youth Leadership, Peer Power Partners, DECA, Go Green Club, and was a manager for the Girls Soccer team.  She has received the Spotlight Award for soccer and the Presidential Award for Academics.   Faith’s future plans include attending a 4-year university for Environmental Studies.

Tori is a member of Austinaires, Link Crew, NHS, DECA, and participates in Tennis and Church Choir.  She has received the All State Tennis Academic award, the Spotlight on Scholarship Award for Tennis, and Letters in Gymnastics, Tennis, and Track.  Tori’s future plans include attending Iowa State to major in Marketing.

Each month the Austin Rotary, in conjunction with Austin Public Schools, selects two students who excel in academics, leadership, and/or activities.
