Austin girls’ basketball downs Faribault 75-41 Saturday afternoon

The Austin Packers girls’ basketball team was on the road Saturday afternoon at Faribault, and four Packers were in double figures in scoring as Austin kept the Falcons winless on the season with a 75-41 win.

Hope Dudycha, Elyse Hebrink Kyra Walters all scored 12 points while Erica Lundberg added 11 points, and Colie Justice and Hope Dudycha each tallied seven for the Packers, who remain tied for first in the Big 9 Conference with Red Wing at 12-2.  Austin moves to 15-3 overall on the season, and they return to action Tuesday evening in Rochester against the Mayo Spartans, who dealt the Packers their first conference loss 68-61 on December 10th at Ove Berven Gym.  Varsity tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
