Austin Bruins to host US National Team Development Program in first pre-season game Oct. 5th

With the 2020-21 NAHL season right around the corner, the Austin Bruins have announced their first home preseason game of the year, a matinee against the US National Team Development Program on October 5, 2020, at 1:05 P.M.

The matinee showdown will not be open to the public but current season ticket holders, billets, and corporate sponsors with tickets will get free admission. The game will also be broadcast live on HockeyTV with the voice of the Bruins TJ Chillot handling the play-by-play.

Based out of Plymouth, MI, the US National Team Development Program is operated by USA Hockey, the governing body of the USHL, NAHL, NA3HL, and more. During last season’s NHL Draft, the USNTDP saw a record 17 players get selected including first-overall pick Jack Hughes, and seven others in the first round.

Following their game with the USNTDP on Monday, the Bruins will host back-to-back preseason games against the USHL’s Sioux City Musketeers on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10. Tickets to those games will be made available to the public in the coming days.
