Hugh Quinn scored the game-winner for the Austin Bruins in the shootout, Hugh Larkin scored two goals and Brett Miller made 36 saves, plus three in the shootout to help lead the Bruins to a 4-3 win over the Minot Minotauros in Minot Friday night.

Larkin put the Bruins on the board first with a goal at 5:00 of the first period, with an assist to Dante Sheriff, but the Minotauros tied the game with a power-play goal by Dan Russell only :45 into the second period.  Larkin and Sheriff again teamed up to put Austin back in the lead 2-1 with a power play goal at 5:49, but Minot came back to take a 3-2 lead at the end of two with goals by Sam Skinner at 10:27 and Kyler Kleven at 12:03.  Camden Gallagher scored at 7:22 of the third period with assists to Larkin and Tiernan Shoudy, and the score remained tied at three for the rest of the period and overtime.

Both teams were 1 for 3 on the power play in the game, and with the win, the Bruins are now 22-12-2-4 on the season, which gives them 50 poins and puts them in a three-way tie for second in the Central Division with Minot and Bismark.  The Bruins and Minotauros will finish their weekend series tonight in Minot at 7:05 p.m.
