The Grand Meadow Superlarks played host the the Schaeffer Academy Lions in a Southeast Conference matchup Tuesday evening, and congratulations to senior Riley Queensland who tallied her 1,000th kill in a 3-0 sweep 25-4, 25-14 and 25-13.

Queensland ripped down 15 kills overall in the match to lead the Larks in hitting, plus she added 11 digs.  Hailey Hindt tallied five kills and led Grand Meadow in ace serves with six.  Meghan Eastlee put up 12 set assists, Madison Hindt tallied eight set assists, seven digs and two ace serves and Isabelle Olson had three set assists, 11 digs and three aces.

The Superlarks move to 19-10 overall and 9-2 in the SEC.  They return to action Thursday evening at Randolph against the Rockets.

In Blooming Prairie, the Awesome Blossoms played host to Medford, one of the top teams in the Gopher Conference Tuesday night, and it was the Tigers coming away with a 3-0 sweep 25-12, 25-18 and 25-12.

Micalyn Trihus led the Blossoms in hitting with 15 kills, plus she also notched two ace blocks.  Julia Worke tallied three kills and 12 digs, Maggie Bruns put up 10 set assists and Heather Pirkl added seven assists.

Blooming Prairie is now 11-12 overall on the season and 2-5 in the Gopher Conference.  The Blossoms will wrap up the regular season next Tuesday with a match at Wells versus United South Central.

The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics were on the road Tuesday night in Glenville against the Wolverines of Glenville-Emmons, and it was the Athletics earning a 3-0 sweep by scores of 25-22, 25-20 and 25-21.

Olivia Christianson put up an impressive stat line for LP with 11 kills, nine ace blocks, two digs and four ace serves, Vanessa Cotter added seven kills, six digs and an ace serve, Rachel Nelson notched five kills and three blocks and Whitney Walkup tallied three kills and added six ace blocks and two digs.  Abbey Neve also helped to lead LP to the sweep with 17 set assists, one kill, three ace blocks, four digs and three ace serves.

With the win, the Athletics move to 2-8 in the SEC and 3-15 overall on the season.  Lyle/Pacelli is back in action Thursday evening at LeRoy/Ostrander versus the Cardinals.

Speaking of the Cardinals, they were in action at home in the SEC versus Randolph, and it was the Rockets winning in a road sweep 25-21, 25-17 and 25-14.

LeRoy/Ostrander was led in hitting by Kayden Schulte who tallied six kills, Kelly Hanson added four kills and Sam Volkart tallied three kills.  Gracie O’Byrne piled up 20 digs to lead the Cardinals defensivley, while Nicole Freerksken added 14 set assists and 16 digs. Jordyn Runde tallied 12 digs and Libertee Smalley led the Cardinals in blocks with four.

LeRoy/Ostrander drops to 4-8 in the SEC and 5-12 overall on the season with the loss.
