At Pacelli High School Tuesday night, the Athletics of Lyle/Pacelli were in action against Glenville/Emmons in a Southeast Conference game, and Buay Koak poured in 29 points while Jed Nelson chipped in with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Athletics picked up their first win of the young season 69-34.

Zach Bollingberg scored 10 points and Sam Nelson added six points for Lyle/Pacelli, who went into the halftime break with a 34-21 lead over the Wolverines and kept the pressure on in the second half by outscoring Glenville/Emmons 35-13 on their way to the win.

Lyle/Pacelli is now 1-2 in the Southeast Conference and 1-3 overall.  They are back in action at home Friday night against LeRoy/Ostrander.

Speaking of the Cardinals, they trailed visiting Kingsland at home Tuesday evening 30-22, only to outscore the Knights 43-29 in the second half to rally back for a 65-59 win.

Riley Olson led the way point-wise for LeRoy/Ostrander with 24 points, while Dakota Stoopes added 15 points and Levi Royston 13 for the Cardinals, who are now 1-2 overall on the season and 1-2 in the Southeast Conference.
