The Grand Meadow boys basketball team played host to Medford at their holiday invitational Saturday, and Ethan Lane tallied 13 points, Ben Kraft added 11 and Mason Geier nine as the Superlarks took down the Tigers 58-40.

The Superlarks are now 8-2 on the season, and they return to action for the first time in 2020 Friday night at Hayfield.

Speaking of the Vikings, they hosted a holiday tournament over the weekend that saw the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics tangle with the Cardinals of Faribault Bethlehem Academy, and freshman Buay Koak tallied 23 points and Jed Nelson added 16 as the Athletics doubled up the Cardinals in the first half 36-18 on their way to their sixth straight win 81-44.

Cole Walter and Mach Diang each added nine points, Zach Bollingberg chipped in seven points and Tyson Anderson added five in the win for Lyle/Pacelli, who raised their record to 6-3 on the season with the win.

The Southland Rebels won a pair of games over the weekend as they downed Kingsland 79-62 in Adams Saturday and defeated Mabel-Canton 76-49 in Mabel Friday.
Dan Boe led the way in scoring in the win over Kingsland with 19 points, Nick Boe added  15 and reece Tapp 11 points in the win.  Boe also led the rout of Mable-Canton Friday night with 15 points while Matt Mueller was also in double figures with 13 points and Nick Boe added 11 for the Rebels, who have now won three out of their last four games.

They return to action Friday night at Fillmore Central.
