Adams man facing felony charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault of a peace officer in Mower County District Court

An Adams man who had to be tasered three times after a property damage report at an apartment complex in Adams turned violent on August 22nd has been charged with three felonies in Mower County District Court.

47-year old Joel Paul Donaldson was charged Monday with felonies for 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, 4th degree assault of a peace officer, demonstrable bodily harm and attempt to disarm a peace officer, take defensive device from peace officer/area controlled by officer, plus a gross misdemeanor for obstructing the legal process, interfere with peace officer.

Donaldson’s next appearance in Mower County District Court is scheduled for September 8th.
