9-1-1 service down in nine southeastern Minnesota counties

911 service is down in nine southeastern Minnesota counties, Mower, Freeborn, Dodge, Fillmore, Steele and Olmsted among them.

In Mower County, the Mower County Sheriff’s Office reported that citizens should call (507) 437-9400 for all emergengies.  In Freeborn County, anyone needing emergency services should contact the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center by dialing (507) 377-5200, extension 5.  In Dodge County, if you have an emergency, you are asked to dial (507) 635-6200 for assistance.

For any and all emergencies in Rice and Steele Counties, you are asked to please call (507) 451-5685 in lieu of 911 until further notice, and for non-emergencies for the Blooming Prairie Police Department, you may still call (507) 583-7885.  In Olmsted County, in case of an emergency call (507) 328-6800.
