Mapleview man pleads guilty to drug sale charges in Mower County District Court

A Mapleview man who allegedly sold a total of 2.02 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant from his residence on two different occasions in August of 2018 has pleaded guilty in Mower County District Court.

61-year old Wayne Douglas Nystel pleaded guilty Monday to a felony charge of third-degree drugs-sale of a narcotic as part of a plea agreement.  He initially pleaded not guilty on Nov. 1.

A second felony charge of third-degree drugs-sale of a narcotic will be dismissed at Nystel’s sentencing, which is scheduled for July 18th in Mower County District Court.
